What is Counselling?

Counselling is a short-term therapy that allows people to address their issues in a safe and confidential environment. It is a process of collaboration between the client and the counsellor to explore the client’s thoughts and feelings, identify what is preventing positive change from taking place, and learn productive ways of coping. You can look at the process of counselling as an impartial and stable ground to help you take a different perspective of your life and use it as support to initiate the changes that you want.

Counselling is a flexible and dynamic type of support as it does not come in a pre-defined form. Instead, each session is tailored to the individual client. The counsellor combines different techniques such as EFT, Focusing and mindfulness to achieve the best results.
